Michael Lange’s works are meditative explorations.<\/p>

“My photographs speak of a longing for silence and pacification, for depth and beauty, and the desire to lose oneself.”<\/p>

Without abandoning the specific motif, Lange transforms landscapes and details in his unique photographic language until they resonate with his inner visions and emotions.<\/p>

For him, the decisive moment of capturing an image lies in the transformation and transience of the elements, when the ordinary undergoes a profound change.<\/p>

As a self-taught photographer, he spent over three decades shooting for magazines such as *Stern*, *Geo*, *Art*, and *manager magazin*. Since the mid-1990s, his focus shifted toward personal projects, and since 2009, he has concentrated entirely on independent works.<\/p>

Since 2010, he has been represented by the Robert Morat Gallery in Berlin.<\/p>

In 2023\u20132024, Lange’s entire body of work (including his magazine assignments) was donated to the F.C. Gundlach Foundation in Hamburg.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
